Macaulay Culkin is not your typical 35 -year-old.
“I’m a human in his mid-3 0s who’s essentially retired, ” Culkin told Vulture in a new interview with Adam Green, whose film “Adam Green’s Aladdin” features Culkin. “I kind of go where the wind takes me a little bit.”
The former child starring likes to paint, write in his notebooks and do some “whatevering.” He enjoys hosting people at his loft in lower Manhattan and taking strolls at 2 or 4 a.m. “because there’s nobody out on the street and it’s easy for me to go unnoticed.”
He also writes jokes.
“When life gives you lemons … cook fish, ” he wrote in one of his notebooks. “When life gives you lemons … be thankful it didn’t give you testicular cancer. When life gives you lemons … you should paint them green and see if anyone notifications they are not limes. It goes on for pages and pages, ” he explained.
Early retirement for the notoriously private actor, who currently has a band called The Pizza Underground, is not so surprising. He skyrocketed to fame at the young age of 10 in “Home Alone” and was able to command$ 8 million per movie.
“I’d made enough money by the time I was 12 to never have to work again, ” he once told.
Good for you, buddy.
