Amal Clooney devoted birth to twins, Ella and Alexander, on Tuesday. These are the first children for both high-profile human rights lawyer and activist Amal, 39, and her husband, the actor and director George, 56.
This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives, Georges publicist said in a statement. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should retrieve in a few days.
The internet responded to the news with elation. Even the Anne Frank Center tweeted congratulations to Amal.
I usually shun celebrity news, but George and Amal Clooney having twins( son& daughter) seems like good news for humanity on some tiny level.

Amal and George have been married since 2014. Since the announcement of Amals pregnancy, the two have retained a low profile, although both have continued their careers.
In March, fans blamed Time for drawing attention to Amals baby bump when she appeared before the United Nations to ask them to investigate allegations of genocide by ISIS.
